The sun, backlighting this lovely dogwood bloom, makes a stunning statement when printed on metal. Display this metal print to remind you that you may feel small and fragile but, like the dogwood bloom, you are strong. Dogwood flowers are often connected to durability and resilience.
Description
Dogwood Awakening illustrates the purity, innocence and spirituality of the white dogwood bloom.
Your light will break forth like the dawn and your healing will quickly appear. Isaiah 58:8
On a personal note: At the time of this writing, my sister was in chemo for appendix cancer. I found this verse not by coincidence. It is so appropriate for this point in her life; I added Isaiah’s words to the image. I believe this gift will give her comfort.

$225.00Apikuni Falls is a must see when you visit Glacier National State Park. Apikuni is the Indian name given to James Willard Schultz, a white man, author, explorer, guide, fur trader and Blackfoot Indian historian who married an Indian woman and lived with her tribe. Depending on who you ask, Apikuni (or Appekunny) means Far-Away Robe, Far Off White Robe, White-spotted Robe or Scabby Robe, referring to one who is tanned with many hard spots; not the most complimentary name for such a stunning waterfall, mountain and stream.

$85.00 – $155.00Queen Anne’s Lace is one of the first flowers I remember as a child. Thousands of tiny blossoms coming together to make one beautiful statement. I was fascinated by the itty-bitty flower clusters. My sisters and I would gather bouquets and have pretend weddings. It grew everywhere around our farm. My dad called it a weed. I called it a bouquet.

$85.00 – $155.00A colony of Wild Sweet William is a true find. It’s common to find them scattered here and there in woodlands and roadsides, but large groups are more unusual. I found these in an area protected by the Nature Conservancy at Springfield (MO) Conservation Nature Center. At the city’s southeast edge, the Center spreads over an 80-acre tract bordering Lake Springfield. You can find ducks, otters, deer, foxes, and other wildlife, as well as native plants, trees and aquatic plants.
