Britain Mill
$65.00 – $115.00
Britain Mill made it through the Civil War without a burning. It provided meal and flour to feed Union troops at the time. In 1857, the Likins family purchased the mill, and in 1892 they doubled its size. Before becoming Britain Mill, the mill had two more owners. John Britain purchased it in 1912.

Rockbridge Mill
0 out of 5$65.00 – $115.00Rockbridge Mill
$65.00 – $115.00Rockbridge Mill has always been privately owned. In 1954 it transitioned from a sawmill to a fisherman’s retreat known as Rockbridge Rainbow Trout & Game Ranch. You can visit the property, picnic, roam around, take photographs and enjoy libations in the mill from April to October. At the time of our visit, the restaurant was open and serving delicious meals; however, the mill was not open. Weather permitting, you can hit the trails on horseback, wade in the spring, fish or hike the trails.
